Mady MesplĂ© is a famous French soprano, who has distinguished herself in several great operatic roles throughout her career. She has just published La Voix du corps, a book in which she looks back on her career, as well as on Parkinson’s disease from which she has suffered for several years.

Mady MesplĂ© was born in France in 1949. She began her musical studies at an early age, and made her professional debut as a soprano in the 1970 production of Bizet’s Carmen at the OpĂ©ra de Lyon. She has since appeared in a number of operas, including Verdi’s La traviata, Puccini’s La Bohème, and Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro.

Career

Mady Mesplé has been a member of the Vienna State Opera, the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and the Opéra National de Paris. She has also performed at the Royal Opera House in London, the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and the Salzburg Festival.

Mady Mesplé is one of the most popular French sopranos of her generation. She has a large and loyal following among opera fans, and her recordings are enjoyed by many people who are not familiar with opera.
