My name is Robert, and I built Ted’s List over the Covid lockdown of 2020. But I’m certain you’re curious about why I called the website Ted’s List then…
Back in 2015, I transformed from being a footloose and fancy-free youthful musician into a grown-up – aka a Father! My son, Teddy, was born – and since he could utter a word, he has loved music as much as I do.
But just how could I assist Teddy’s buddies and parents with their musical education?
Ted’s List was obviously the answer.
Well in that case we have the ideal recommendations, techniques and helpful content for you.
The Ted’s List writers are all fantastic, qualified musicians. With their experience, no one can help you better; especially as there appears to be a lot of bad advice on other websites…
Are you aware that to teach music, absolutely no certification is required? Nothing. Which means you could be getting advice about exactly what to buy, recommendations & techniques from someone who has never formally learnt their musical instrument.
You’d be surprised the number of piccolo teachers I ask about the difference of the quality between a wood-made and metal-made piccolo, and they don’t know the answer!
And that is why you’ll love the content created by our fantastic authors. There is absolutely nothing better than receiving the tips and trade secrets from a serious professional. And most importantly, they enjoy creating piccolo reviews; and they love helping out budding piccolo players.

Do you want to learn the Piccolo? Playing a wind instrument can be enormous fun, but starting an instrument from the very beginning can have quite a steep learning curve.
Research is key. Read some Piccolo Reviews. Find out what Piccolo is going to be best for you personally, and get the very best instrument you can afford to buy. You’ll probably have learnt how to play the flute already – which is a great start.
Research is great, but be careful about doing too much of it. You could spend days and months learning the theory of an instrument, but it doesn’t mean you can actually play it. To be able to do that, you’ll need to put the Piccolo to your mouth and actually start blowing!
One of the things to remember about learning an instrument is that it doesn’t matter how talented you are; there are no shortcuts.
Here at Ted’s List, we have put together some of the worlds finest musicians to give you free tips, tricks and advice. If you would like to find out more about your wind instrument and read other Piccolo Reviews, please do visit our dedicated page here.
And remember, the Piccolo can play very high – so wrap up all your glass ornaments!
So what is the 4 Feature Friday email? Simple. Every single Friday, our Founder and general good guy, Robert Emery, will send you an exclusive email. It’ll be small and simple, that contains the four most incredible things he has found that week. All connected with music obviously!
