My name is Robert, and I created Ted’s List while in the Covid lockdown of 2020. But I’m certain you’re asking yourself why I called the website Ted’s List then…
In 2015 I became a Dad. Teddy came into the world and has since gone on to love music just as much as I do. Music is my life and passion, touring the world as a conductor and pianist, performing with the most awesome talents on the earth.
And since Ted went to school, I had his pals along with their parents constantly ask me for suggestions about music and learning a musical instrument. So how could I assist them?
Ted’s List is the answer.
Well, that’s exactly what we are here for.
My friends and I have authored real guidance as pro-musicians, and that’s what makes us different. We can provide respected and truthful electric guitar reviews – and with our experience, you’ll not want to look any further.
There is no qualification required to teach music. Absolutely nothing at all. Alarming, I realize – but true. What this means in reality, is that you could possibly be having incorrect advice from somebody calling themselves a ‘professional musician’; but who may have never properly qualified.
You wouldn’t believe how many electric guitar teachers don’t know the difference between a Stratocaster and a Telecaster.
That is where our professionals come in. And no, in contrast to various other websites which shall remain nameless, our industry experts are real-life, performing, qualified musicians. They are the best in the business, in either the UK or America. Some are even household names. And all love publishing electric guitar reviews!
Playing the Electric Guitar can be immense fun, but starting to learn an instrument from the very beginning can be a very daunting process. The two basic factors of learning a musical instrument are like Yin & Yan.
Firstly, you must do your research. Read some Electric Guitar Reviews. Find out what Guitar is going to be best for your circumstances, and get the very best instrument you can afford to buy. Then do more research about methods of learning; two important areas to cover are:
A little experience goes a long way, and all of this study will give you the courage to start playing.
However, be careful. It’s easy to fall into the trap of doing too much research. Spending too long finding information is an outstanding form of procrastination. And if research is the Yin, then diving into the deep end is the Yan.
With the research behind you, using the famous Nike phrase of ‘JUST DO IT’ is the second essential part of learning the Electric Guitar.
Playing a musical instrument can be one of the most nerve-racking things you’ll ever do. It’ll also be one of the most complicated. Don’t despair. Sometimes it’s better to ‘give it a go and see what happens’.
Here at Ted’s List, we have pulled together a group of the finest musicians to give you free tips, tricks and advice. Use it and abuse it! We can help you solve the ‘Yin research puzzle’. We then trust you to do the Yan jumping all by yourself.
